Finance Minister, Seth Terkper,  answered questions on Ghana’s economy on a special edition of the Citi Breakfast Show.

The minister answered questions from Citi FM’s Bernard Avle, Radio Gold’s Alhassan Suhuyini and the general public aired on both 97.3 Citi FM and Radio Gold.

The special breakfast session with the minister was heavily patronized on social media with micro-bolgging site Twitter leading the questions.

Some of the questions were on the depreciation of the Ghanaian Cedi, the three billion CDB loan, the Black Stars $3 million fiasco and the delay in paying statutory funds.

According to him, despite the economic challenges and the continuous depreciation of the Ghana Cedi, the country is still the best destination for investments and other businesses.

On the Black Stars appearance fees, he explained that the money was airlifted because it was an emergency situation.

The following is an account of the interaction – using the hashtag #AskTerkper.
