Motorists and users of petroleum products from tomorrow should be ready to cough up 23 percent more for fuel.
This is because the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has in its latest price review increased prices for the various petroleum products.
Petrol has gone up by about 23percent, from 2 cedis 73 pesewas to 3 cedis 36 pesewas. Diesel has gone up by 22 percent, from 2 cedis 68 pesewas to 3 cedis, 27 pesewas per litre.
Kerosene is up by about 24 percent from 2 cedis 61 pesewas to 3 cedis 23 pesewas per litre.
Premix is up by about 26 percent, from 1 cedi 25 pesewas to 1 cedi 57 pesewas while Liquified Petroleum Gas has gone up by about 16 percent, shooting up from 2 cedis, 87 pesewas to 3 cedis 32 pesewas per kilogram.
The increment takes effect from Monday, 14th July, 2014.
The last time the prices changed was on April 16 when Diesel fell by about 4 percent.
