Users of Petroleum products have again been spared of an increase in the prices of fuel.
The National Petroleum Authority in its latest review of the prices of the petroleum products maintained the last rates.
The review takes effect from today.
Petrol is still going for 2 cedi 73pesewas per litre, diesel 2 cedis 68 pesewas, kerosene 2 cedis 61 pesewas, premix 1 cedi 25 pesewas while liquefied petroleum gas is at 2 cedis 87 pesewas per kilogram.
The last time the prices changed was on April 16 when Diesel fell by about 4percent.
Figures from the Ghana chamber of Bulk Oil Companies indicates an estimated 40million Ghana cedis will be spent in this price subsidy.
Government has so far spent about 175million cedis in the past 8 weeks on price subsidies.
It is unclear how government expects to fund this as it has not been provided for in the 2014 budget.
