Thursday morning’s rain is said to have caused severe flooding on the Teshie- Nungua road.
Houses in the area and the main road have all been affected by the flooding.
A commuter who gave her name as Lamisi on the Citi Breakfast Show reported that motorists are being forced to go through the floods “and the water is almost close to the window level.”
The flood according to her has reached “above the lintel of the houses. It is a terrible and scary situation.”
Lamisi also mentioned that the intersection in front of the Kofi Annan Training Center on the Teshie-Nungua road is flooded.
“The roads and the drains there are all flooded. It’s terrible so please I would like to urge motorists not to use the road. At least they should wait for the rains to subside,” she cautioned.
