The West Mamprusi District in the Northern Region is appealing to government to complete unfinished government projects in the district.
According to them, about 40 per cent of these uncompleted structures are health and educational facilities.
They say the completion of these structures will significantly reduce the high mortality rate in the district and also enhance development within the area.
Speaking to Citi News, the Constituency Secretary of Mamprusi West, Simon Ali noted that “the health facilities should be completed on time to alleviate the suffering of people in this community and also reduce the distance people travel to access health care.”
He also called on government to as a matter of urgency, help the district assembly and release the necessary funds for the district to complete these structures.
