Citi FM’s Family Consecration ended on a high spiritual note as hundreds of families gathered at the Winners Chapel, Circle in Accra to pray to God for their families.
The family worship service saw families praying to God for interventions for persons afflicted by life’s trials and pressures, healing from bloodline diseases, childlessness, family curses and delayed marriages.
The service also gave the gathering the opportunity to worship the Most High God and also to ask for blessings for the rest of the year.
The 9th edition of the Family Consecration was led by Citi FM’s resident Pastors and hosts of ‘This is your day’, Citi FM’s morning devotion programme – Pastor Steven Yenusom Wengham and Pastor Freddie MacDavies.
Some participants of the programme expressed delight and said the Family Consecration service was a blessing.
“’The prayers and the declarations that we made is going to go a long way to help me,’’ a worshipper told Citi News.
‘’If we continue having this programme it is going to go a long way to encourage a lot of people and bring a lot more to the house of God,’’ another participant said.
Majority of the participants told Citi News they have been blessed by the service.
The Family Consecration service is the first of many activities lined up to mark Citi FM’s Family Month.
Other activities Citi FM will undertake in the Month of May are; The Family Finance Series; a daily 15 minute segment on the Citi Breakfast Show through which listeners would get quality insights into managing family finances to ensure stability and growth.
The Family Month will be then be climaxed with a Family Fun Day Out which will enable families to spend quality time, get together and have some family fun at the serene Rufus Green Park, in Katamanso – near Regimanuel Grey Estate off the Dodowa road on May 26, 2014
