President John Mahama is on a two -day working visit to the Eastern Region. He will address House of Chiefs in Koforidua. The president is also expected to interact with students, staff and faculty of the Koforidua Polytechnic, as well as inspect progress on some ongoing projects in the Region.
On Wednesday, 26 March the President will spend a greater portion of his activities in the Afram Plains area, where he is scheduled to inspect projects and inaugurate a new maternity ward for the Donkorkrom Presbyterian Hospital.
President Mahama will also be in Kyebi to inaugurate a newly completed water treatment plant for the people of the area.
