Ghana Health Service introduces new vaccine in routine immunization

The routine and rigorous immunization exercises embarked on by Ghana has resulted in the country being classified among nations eliminating neonatal tetanus since 2011.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) is introducing the MenAfricVac-1 vaccine into the country’s immunization programme to help combat the outbreak of meningitis.
