CAL Bank presents GHC 14,000 to five Orphanages
CAL Bank presents GHC 14,000 to five Orphanages CAL Bank has presented a total of GHC 14, 000 to five Orphanages in Greater Accra as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The bank, which has an Orphan Project says, the donation is expected to support the orphanages as they give children treats during this season.

The beneficiary orphanages are, SOS, Village of Hope, Teshie Orphanage, Osu Children’s Home and Orphanage International.

The Head of Human Resources for CAL Bank, Samuel Boafo told Citi Business News, “every year, there is some kind of support that we give to the orphanages that we partner with and that is based on their needs; currently there are three people from the orphanages who are working with the bank in the various departments; Recoveries Unit, Treasury Department and the Audit Department.”

CAL Bank expects the GH 14,000 to be used by the beneficiary orphanages to fete the children during the Christmas festivities.

The bank has however pledged to continue supporting orphanages as part of its long term strategy and CSR responsibility.
