Former Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe has signed a two-year contract with Berekum Chelsea.
The 25-year-old almost rejoined the Porcupine Warriors last week after terminating his contract with Egyptian side Petrojet, but the deal fell through in the dying minutes.
The 2007-2008 Ghana goal king will be expected to fill the void left by Caf Champions League leading goal scorer Emmanuel Clottey who joined Esperance Sportive de Tunis last week.
Berekum Chelsea’s president, Emmanuel Kyeremeh, told the club’s website that they have confidence in Bekoe and believe he will love the club.
“He will be a great inclusion to our side and we can rely on him in the league next season,” the business magnate added.
