Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, is in the Upper East Region to see to the final transition and the exit of his mother, Atiisah Amidu, who died on 6th March 2016 in Bawku.
The late Atiisah Amidu, had been a resident of Bawku for 60 years, and was buried at her hometown of Kadema on 7th March 2016, from this physical world into the ancestral world.
Mr. Amidu, who’s yet to officially resume full duties as Ghana’s first Special Prosecutor, is holding the significant traditional ceremony alongside his brother, Professor Assibi Amidu of NTNU Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway.
The event, which started on 6th March 2018, culminates with the final transitional and farewell rites today, 9th March 2018.
Professor Assibi Amidu and Martin Alamisi Amidu expressed their gratitude to all those who supported and sympathized with them during her death and final transition and farewell ceremony in accordance with Bulsa custom and tradition.
They acknowledged the Bawku-Naba for generously supporting their mother during her illness, death and transition.
