India’s Liberty Shoes opens West Africa’s 1st shop in Accra [Photos]

One of India’s leading footwear manufacturing companies, Liberty Shoes, has officially opened its first shop in Ghana.

The company which was launched at the Achimota Mall in Accra is the first of its branch in West Africa, and is aimed at offering Ghanaians durable and affordable footwear.

According to the Director, Bobby Shawney, the new line offers all types of footwear, designed and specially made to fit all sizes.

The shop according to him is “a family store and provides footwear for sexes, children, formal, casual, sports and all occasions”.

The shoes according to him are made from acclaimed high quality raw materials and leather, and are made with modern shoe manufacturing technologies.

The footwear company which has its head office in India is giving 10% discount for the first week.

“We are having a promotion only for the launch week. We are giving 10% discount “.

Bobby added that plans are underway to establish more shops in the other regions of the country.

“We are the leading Indian footwear manufacturer. This is the first or maiden store and our plans are to expand the concept so we will be opening more shops and distributing the product across the regions”.

He urged Ghanaians to purchase the new Liberty Shoes and ensure they get quality for less money, adding that the company’s aim is to offer fashionable and affordable footwear to men, women and children.

Liberty shoes are currently present in 23 countries and have over 6,500 showrooms worldwide.
