In all, two deaths were recorded in the area.
Speaking to the families of the deceased in Cape Coast, IGP Kudalor intimated the resolve of the police to look into the circumstances, insisting that they will do all they can to protect lives and properties.
He acknowledged that “by all means, once in a while, there would be casualties, but we would prefer that nothing like that would happen.”
IGP Kudalor also urged people not see the Police force “as an enemy but as a friend” adding that the Police need the cooperation of the civilians to do their work well.
