Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set up a fact finding mission to investigate allegations of irregularities that characterized the election at the Rivers state.
Thousands of supporters of Nigeria’s main opposition party All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday demonstrated in the area to express their displeasure over the issue.
The demonstrators converged at INEC’s local office at the River states capital, Port Harcourt.
But the chairman of INEC, Attahiru Jega has set up a three member fact finding mission to investigate the matter and are yet to present their report.
